This video was produced in Reno, NV and surrounding Northern Nevada locations. Being located in Reno, Studio Benna is always happy to be able to work with clients in bringing their vision to life using Reno’s film locations.

Studio Benna, in collaboration with Journeyfilm and Centered Films produces a weekly television show called What Color is Your Dog? with Joel Silverman. Each episode, professional dog trainer Joel Silverman takes the audience on a journey to better understand their dogs and how best to train them. He interviews other dog trainers, visits Hollywood movie sets and goes into the homes of people who have troubled pets. It’s an exciting and educational show that Studio Benna is proud to be a part of. Check your local listings to see if What Color is Your Dog? is broadcast in your area.
This video is the opening title sequence (designed by Arsenal) and the introduction to episode five from season 2. While segments of the show are shot all over the country, the majority of the film and video production is done in Reno, NV.
For their Fall 2013 commercial campaign, Heritage Bank of Nevada worked with the Mark Curtis and Friends advertising agency to develop their TV and radio spots. They chose Studio Benna to shoot and post their ads in collaboration with Jameson Media Group. They used the Studio Benna production stage for the green screen portion of the spot and developed the edit and special effects with the in-house Studio Benna editor in the client-friendly edit suite. Studio Benna is always excited to work with local Nevada businesses to create video production in Reno.
Studio Benna produced a commercial written and directed by JB Benna for the dog food company Iams.
This first video (below) is a 30 second spot, complete with color correction, voiceover narration and graphics.
To showcase a little more of the production and storytelling, we created a longer, 60 second version (above). This version, however, does not include either graphics or voiceover narration.

Several years ago, Studio Benna principal JB Benna and award-winning director Tony Benna collaborated on a series of humorous and whimsical viral ads for Cheetos.
